Many times, those who falsely accuse others of harbouring evil are themselves in the possession of countless vices and in this case, there was also no exception. This was exactly what happened when Allāh S revealed the innumerable vices possessed by Walīd ibn Mugīrah, the person who accused the holy Prophet Q of possessing such deficiency. In this Sūrah, Allāh S defended the holy Prophet Q of his elevated rank as being raised to a position of great spiritual dignity, ingrained in the very fundamental structure of his being, which moulded him with a disposition and temperament far greater than that of any being to have ever existed. Sūrah Qalam also teaches us to inculcate good habits and shun aside all bad habits.
