Spiritual Heart
In our day to day life, we are often faced with such challenges that arouse emotions within us such as pride, jealousy, anger, etc. As Muslims, we should be regularly striving to free ourselves from these maladies of the heart in order to achieve a spiritual heart. Such purification of the heart is a key towards the success of a Muslim.
This book focusses on three spiritual maladies: Pride, anger and evil gazes. It defines and explains the problems and identifies prescriptions for their cure. In addition, many examples from the lives of our pious predecessors are used for inspiration and encouragement. It is hoped that once we can understand these maladies and their cures, we can work towards purifying ourselves and gaining a spiritual heart.
